For people with E-D/Lcd Glasses, NVIDIA graphic card,
Opera or Mozilla Web browsers.
If you have not installed Depthcharge then don't, Page Flipping is
much clearer
than putting the Picture into Interlace mode in Depthcharge. Go to Nvidia.com
get the latest drivers and the Stereo driver. Install the latest drivers first then
install the stereo driver. Restart your computer. If all is well any jps files on your
system should have a green and yellow Nvidia icon next to them. Put on your Lcd
Glasses but DO NOT activate H3d.exe or E-D.exe, Click on the Jps file. You
should see a very clear 3d image. Doing this via the net gives mixed results on
my computer. Opera opens the Nvidia viewer without opening a new window,
Mozilla opens a new window and the Nvidia viewer so you have to close two
windows after each file. To do this simply click on a jps file Like
this one(96kb).
Opera and Mozilla will offer a "Open with" option, choose the Nvidia test viewer
and click ok. On my first go with Opera it crashed my computer while stuck in
page flipping mode, If this happens do ctrl+alt+del and restart your system.
It should be ok after this (was on mine). Internet Explorer is a Pig, it opens my
Jps files as Cross-eye Jpg files (which they are) but i cannot make it open the
Nvidia viewer, Hence it has the Depthcharge plug-in for testing purposes only.
Ati and Voodoo die-hards can install Depthcharge into Mozilla,it does involve
moving dll files about and educating it but its much easier and more reliable
in Internet Explorer.
Although i check my WebPages in 3 browsers for Windows i also check them
using three Browsers in Linux. I have never been any good with Linux and
as such cannot offer any assistance in making LCD glasses work within it.
If any Linux users would like to submit how this is done, I would be happy
to post it here.
